Herrero

Herrero was born in Alcoy, Spain on 25 December 1975. He is the youngest of three brothers, all of them artists. His Grandfather taught them to paint and draw. Once he finished his studies at High School Padre Victoria, he began further study at the San Fernando Academy in Valencia. Among his teachers was the great master Carlos Peñalver, who inspired in him his love of seascape subjects. Whilst continuing to paint, he studied public law, and started work in the Administration of Government. Sergio does not like to take part in exhibitions. Since he began painting professionally he has only has taken part in three exhibitions: Sala Braulio in Valencia, Galeria San Jorge in Alcoy and Gallery Sagasta in Madrid. Sergio moved to Madrid 4 years ago, far from the seaside, however, he retains his love of painting seascapes.
